Trivia

• Saif is a reference to the Blood Elf race from World of Warcraft. His silencing skills are also a reference to the Racial Skill of the Blood Elves, Arcane Torrent, which silences the opponent. His armor and physical appearance bears some resemblance to Lor'themar Theron, current leader of the Blood Elves, and Prince Kael'thas Sunstrider, former leader of the Blood Elves; both representatives of the race in World of Warcraft.
• "Saif" is also the term in Arabic used for the Scimitar sword, which means "curved sword". Saif himself uses an adorned scimitar, however it is not as curved, with a more rigid aspect of a broad sword, but with a straight edge.
• Saif's DOT Arena counterpart is Gabriel.
